2 week Birthday!

That's right Noah's been in the NICU for 14 days now and there were some BIG changes today. He no longer is taking in any IV fluids since they have removed the umbilical IV line. They were able to do this because he is at full feedings now. That's right he is taking 7.5ml/hr of Momma's milk!! He is digesting every bit of the milk he gets which is awesome! They add a few calories to the milk to pump him up.

He is really starting to work his way off the ventilator also. He is now only getting 15 breaths per minute and 28% oxygen from the machine. This means he might get to be on the CPAP soon which means we can hold him soon (if he maintains his internal body temp).

His nurse Tiffanie brought him some LSU gifts for his birthday! He got an LSU football which he was already practicing holding and some LSU pacifiers for down the road.

Oh my goodness! What a strong little tiger you are, Noah! Rich and Steph, I am so happy he's doing so well! All my love to you! :-)
