Getting Closer
Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay... we got power back after 9 days and it was rough. So, now we can update from home again! Since Monday (9/8) we have both bottle fed Noah with assistance from OT (occupational therapists). The two bottles Mommy fed him were a breeze.. he took them both in less than 15 minutes! When Daddy fed Noah he spit up and pooped on him in the same feed! After a scare from a Dr. that Noah could be discharged Friday or Saturday, we are now reassured that he is not coming home this weekend because he lost weight (not much) and did poorly on plenty o' bottles. He has to eat "well" for 48 hours to go home at this point. He will most likely come home on oxygen and montiors to boot. We will post pictures soon! He is a really cute baby... but you know how bias moms and dads can be!! Oh yeah, we got to bathe him and weigh him tonight... plus, we weighed him after he nursed and boy did he eat well tonight!!!

Well I am so glad to finally hear good new. We are all so happy for you guys and know how excited yall must be to finally have him home soon. I can imagine how scary it will be and how much more work you all will have to go through beings that he will be on all those monitors. I know yall can handle it though. So how much does big boy weigh now? Love yall and take care.
Say a little prayer for your family down here. We are crossing our fingers that the storm surge is nothing like RITA!!!

So glad to hear from ya'll again! I can't imagine how long those days must have been with no electricity! We might find out...Ike's headed our way tonight...love ya'll!
