I have been negligent in uploading this. It's from July 1st but he's been crawling a LOT and might even be walking soon. He's a lot faster than this now. As proven by him getting from room to room before we ever realize it.

Some videos from across the board
Playing in the sink in June. Water baby.
At the Galveston Aquarium at the end of May
Easter at Paw and Granny's (yeah this one's a little old, April). He preferred the basket to the gifts.
Fun with the hose, June 25th - somebody loves water and is very curious as to why it can't be "grabbed". He had a BLAST with this and would have sat there forever and played in the water.

Almost a month!
So almost a month has gone by since the last post....Noah has done so much is so little time. He is pulling up on everything now and HAS A TOOTH!!! He loves to play in the sink or with any running water.
He will probably be walking soon as he is tranferring from one object to another very well when standing and standing without holding on at times. He's gotta go go go all the time. Crawls like a champ and eats almost anything we put in front of him.

A Whole New World,... errr house
Ladies and gentleman we have a crawler! Noah got the hang of it even on the wood floors:) Today I had to vaccumm the baseboards and window sills in the den because he crawled between our recliners and started swinging the blinds! Yay boys! I also had to put up all the shoes, power cords and close the door to the bathroom because i walked in there and he had pulled up to standing on the toilet! Nice:) A video of him crawling down the hallway is yet to come...
Also, we are pretty sure hes close to popping a tooth... he drools like a faucet 24/7 , chews on his cotton hamper, and has had many a poopy diapers today!

320 Days Old
Wow, Noah is changing fast! He wants to feed himself (with his hands of course) so we decided to not buy any more baby food. Hes pulling to standing and crawling/scooting everywhere. Nana bought him an early birthday present: an inflatable swimming pool, which he has already enjoyed on the deck!
Speaking of food; he has tried all sorts of new things.
Since the last post he has tried Yo Baby vanilla and banana yogurt, chocolate pudding, steamed carrots, shredded chicken breast, cheerios are a staple, bananas and noodles. Still no allergies or food aversions!
He is now on monthly visits from home health, yet another milestone! At his last check up he weighed #18 6 ounces.

First Trip to Texas
We are leaving today for Noahs first trip to the Lone Star State (my old stomping grounds). Richard and my dad are competing in a salt water fishing tournament in Galveston while my mom and I are poolside with Noah. There will be a lot of "firsts" accomplished on this trip: being out of state, riding a ferry, visiting an indoor aquarium and being on a boat! We will post pictures as soon as we have time!
Also, we will post our ultrasound pics of Noahs sibling (baby Greig #2) soon!

Zoo Days and lots of new things
Granny came to visit with some really cute clothes for summer and a jacket for fall. Noah was our little safari guide, hat and all. We stopped just past the elephants (not a great idea) for Noahs lunch time bottle. Granny has a special touch with feeding Noah. Most likely we will be having a first birthday party at the Baton Rouge Zoo on the pavillion this summer! Wow, its gone really fast.
We have started putting him on the floor in front of the door to the deck from our bedroom. He loves the outside and when the dogs run past him or play with his toys. He has become quite the giggle box.

Growth Spurt
Over the weekend of May 15th , when Noah and I came home from Ruston without Richard he was fussy and I thought he was just getting back into his routine and being at home in his own bed. But, I was wrong! Friday night he woke up twice and cried uncontrollably until my mom (Nana) and I fed him. The next night was even worse. He took 6 1/2 oz at 8pm (his usual bedtime) then ate 3 oz at 1130pm, 6 oz at 3am, and 6 oz at 6am. All in all he took more over night than he does all day, a text book definition of a growth spurt? I think so!Thank God my mom was here! I wouldnt have been able to keep up or function during the day if it werent for her taking turns with me waking up to feed him all night! Thanks Mom:)

Announcements
He would suck on his toes if he didnt have socks on!
Noah had his 9 month checkup last week and it was all good news. No shots. We got the all-clear to take him to church! And he started meats last week too! He loves the chicken and rice combo with veggies. We also started a new fruit snack: apple, strawberry, banana...he loves this mixed with his oatmeal.
He weighs almost 18 pounds and is nearly 28 inches long. Hes getting so big!
In the last few weeks he has mastered sitting up and we started using his pack and play during the day- he likes spending time in there but not for long. He rolls over all the time and is starting to scoot forward if only he could keep his knees under him at the same time! We gave him his first table food Sunday night: mashed potatoes. We have yet to feed him something he flat out rejects or gags on. He got the name in the NICU and it still applies. Noah the good eater! He sits at the table with us when we eat dinner and he reaches for our glasses so we decided to give it a
go. He "loves" to drink from our cups but still thinks his sippy cup is a play toy! And hes enjoying his "puffs" and apple juice for snacks.
We visited the eye doctor today (for 2 hours) and she said Noah looked great! We dont have to see her again for 2-3 years:) It was not a painful or torturous appointment either!
Right now we are waiting to find out if the suggested ph probe/sleep study is absolutely necessary... We do not trust the pulmonologist here in Baton Rouge and were giving him a second chance as suggested by Dr Davis in NOLA... now, we're ready to drive to Houston and get a real doctors opinon! The doctor here wants to send him home with a ph probe ( a tube in his nose and down his throat) rather than keep him in the hospital like his pediatrician and GI doctor both recommend.

Noah's going to be a big brother!
So Stefanie was feeling a bit "yucky" and I thought she was pregnant.....I was right! #2 is about 8 weeks along and doing well! Here's a picture of the little peanut!

15 pounds 10 ounces
We had another impromptu doctors appt.. the pulmonologist ordered a complete blood count to rule out anemia as a possible cause for Noahs continued 6 second apneas. And as we suspected he is not anemic! Which is great news but it brings us no closer to a reason for his apnea e
vents, which he should have outgrown at this age?? We are starting to feel like were living in a really slow episode of "House".
Update: Noah eats solids 3 times/day: Oatmeal and pears for breakfast, applesauce for snack, and a veggie combo for dinner! He still takes 1tsp of milk of magnesia for regularity, and nexium twice a day; however, we give just a half dose in the morning. So, were on the right track! The GI doctor says the better "trunk control" he develops (ie sitting up) the less he will suffer from reflux and the less he needs nexium which slows down his digestive system to the point he gets constipated. Did ya get all that???
Other than that- Noah is developmentally 6 months old!!! The neurologist appt was awesome and we dont have to go back for 6 more months! He rolls over from back to belly constantly, in fact the play mat doesnt contain him anymore.
We went to Audobon Zoo with friends last weekend and Noah rode face front in his stroller- we just reclined it for naps and laziness! He had some ice cream licks too! We' re not sure why he liked it so much.. the teething or the sweet taste!? Oh yeah, Sesame Street (especially Murray and Elmo) are part of our daily routine! After breakfast he takes some pear juice and water in his bouncy seat and watches the whole show- although it takes all hes got to stay awake until the end (when Elmo comes on)!
