101.8 Ruston

My first mothers day was eventful! Noah went to sleep saturday with a low grade fever and woke up at 3am with 101.8 under the arm, which translates to 102.8 fever. Needless to say we took him to the pediatrician mothers day morning (after he slept in our bed for observation). The doctor said it must be a cold virus because his ears, eyes, nose, throat and lungs were perfect. Whew! We go the ok to take him out of town for the week while Richard was doing field work in Ruston. Richard got a king suite with 2 rooms and an indoor pool, which was great for us during the day! The car ride up there was miserable because his fever didnt break until late Monday evening. i.e. we stopped every 4 hours to give tylenol or motrin and check his temp and which didnt coincide with his eating schedule or our eating/bathroom break schedule, of course!

Here are some pics of his 1st time in the pool and us with him one day when Richard finsihed up early.
